Description
The Rako RK-MOD is a Wireless Modular wall plate controller that is available in nine preconfigured button layouts. The wireless Modular control module is programmable via Rako’s patented NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, allowing each button to trigger a single or multiple commands. This product can only be programmed with a laptop using Rako’s Rasoft Pro software and a HUB or RAMPI programming interface.

The RK-MOD-xxx-x uses three different button sizes across a range of keypad layouts. This offers a truly flexible range of designs to suit all your lighting control requirements including: Curtain, Blind, Audio, Multi and Single Room layouts. You can choose your layout from the dropdown option. You will also need to specify your buttons are available in Black or White. This page has the Black button option.
The wired Modular control module is programmable via Rako’s Rasoft Pro software. Each input is fully customisable and can be addressed to separate Rako Rooms or Channels and activate on press or release, giving a ‘Press and Hold’ function. Additionally each input can trigger an internal macro function.
The wireless Modular control modules are designed to be flush mounted to standard UK single gang back boxes (minimum advised depth: 25mm) and are Lithium battery powered, which means they can be mounted anywhere without having to run cabling.
The RK-MOD-xxx controller has Laser etched buttons that are backlit with fully programmable blue LEDs. Designed for use with standard UK single gang back box. Easy connection to the Rako wired CAT5 network is by a removable 8 way Krone punch down module. This can be installed at first fix stage prior to the push button front control module. This protects the control module from being damaged while building works are being finished.
A RAMPI or RK-HUB and Rasoft Pro programming software is required for setup and configuration of the RK-MOD-xxx-x. Once addressed it is possible to control any Room/Channel in the system, sending
commands to each including:
– Scene selection
– Scene toggle
– Level toggle
– Room/Channel raise & lower
– Macro start/stop/control
– House Master controls
Rako’s coded radio transmission eliminates the need for any data cables ensuring the system can be installed with minimum fuss or disruption.
** NB:The cover plate for the RK-MOD need to be purchased separately. All of the Cover Plate surrounds are hand finished metal, available in a number of finishes.
