PROJECT: Cinema and Home Spa Project
BRIEF:
- To create a dedicated Cinema room for watching Movies on a largest possible projection screen size for the room, which would conceal a DLS 7.2 surround sound system with perforated screen recessed into the front wall to give a flush to wall effect .
- To have a high end Projection for cinema quality HD resolution.
- Lighting Control within the Cinema, Gym and Spa area along with ability to stream music via Sonos to discreetly mounted in ceiling speakers
- One Simple automation touch remote control to all products from any Smart iOs or Android device.
Design & Planning:
Once we had agreed the products required for this project with our client, work commenced on the wiring schematics and product positioning. Plans were drawn for both the wiring and also the framework needed for the speaker and screen wall.
Installation:
Thanks to great planning and designing the install was straight forward and was completed in 3 days.
Once the cables and stud work frame had been constructed, we started with the install of the rack equipment into the central hub at the rear of the cinema room.
All speakers were installed and tested, the screen was built and projector installed to complete the cinema set up.
Our engineer programmed the Control 4, Rako and Nest Thermostats so they would all work off an iPad through Control 4’s interface for a simple one remote solution.
A wired cabling structure was installed to enable multiple wireless access points to be connected. This delivered whole house wi-fi for wireless devices, creating seamless wi-fi connectivity around the whole property.
